   Super Mario 64 DS is an adventure game based on the

classic game, Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64. With 30 more

stars to collect, you can have a blast with Mario, Luigi, Wario,

and even Yoshi! Advance through many differnet envirorments,

such as water, lava, snow, and just plain old  grassy plains. The

first levels include:

 1. Bob-omb Battlefield, were you find yourself in a battle

between the Bob-omb Buddies and the Dark Bob-ombs. You

advance through the level and get the first star by defeating the

big Bob-omb King!

 Seen here, the giant bob-omb is chasing after yoshi.

 2. Whomp's Fortress, were you find yourself in front of a

large fortress gaurded by Red caps, man eating plants, and

more, is an easy level, but has its hazards. Beware falling off the

edge or being destroyed by a man eating plant. make it to the

top, and meet Whomp! He will try to crush you, and when he

does, dodge him, and then do a ground pound on his back. Two

or three times will defeat the boss, and you can continue on!!

 3. The fun part about Super Mario 64 on DS is the mini games.

You start the game with 8 mini games. There are three mini

game catigories: Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, and Wario. As you advance

through adventure mode, you come across rabbits. Chase the

rabbits until you catch one, and  it will give you a key. The key

is to "Princess Peach's Drawers" You collect a key as mario, and

you will unlock mini- games under the catigory: Mario. Same

with yoshi, wario, and luigi.

 4. But you don't just collect keys for mini- games, you also collect

keys to advance through adventure mode. The first key is from

Bowser. You get 12 stars, and advance through the "Big Star

Door" and go down the corridor, and you fall down a trap door.

There is no way of avoiding this. You advance through the dang-

erous level, and come across a green pipe in the ground. You

know what to do- hop in!! And there you meet bowser. To

defeat him, manage to get behind his back, grab his tale, and

spin him. Let go and try to have him land on one of the spike-

balls at the edge of the arena. he will give you a key and you are

out of there!! The key leads to the door adjacent to the Boo

hallway. Waiting are more challenging levels. Such as the Lethal

Lava Land. You advance through the level avoiding lava spouts

and staying on solid ground. There are a variety of challenging

foes, such as the "bully" They try to nock you off into the lava! So

don't be a pushover, and the same to them! Aventually you will

find a big bully. He will do the same as his minions, and, yes,

you know to do the same to him. Defeating him will grant you

another power star. Of coarse there are othere stars to collect,

but i'm not going into detail with those.

 5. You can change characters any time in the game. One level

has a boss in which you must defeat in order to get the key to

Mario's door. You go to Mario's door, and in goes yoshi, out

comes Mario! Now you can control Mario as the character! You

can do the same to trade in for yoshi again, and of coarse, you

can do the same as you advance through the game, with Wario

and Luigi. Once you have gotten all of the keys to Marios friends,

you can have fun with any of them!

 6. You don't have to find the key to your friends doors to unlock

them though! Hidden throughout levels are the hats of your

friends! The hat may be on an enemy, or laying on the ground,

but when you obtain the hat, you take the form of the hats owner!

Throughout the first levels, as yoshi, you can find Mario hats.

When you advance to the area after getting the first key, in the

Hazy Maze level you can find the hat of Wario! Wario has his

strengths, and you can read more about him in the section

titled 10.

 7. Yoshi. Yoshi is a very feeble and week character, so he uses

eggs as his weapon. Swallow certain enemies, wait, and out

goes an egg! Throw the egg at a nearby enemy- it will destroy

them! Such as the man eating plants, or, flying enemies.

 8. Mario. Mario is the person we all know as the guy with the

moustach and the red hat! His capabilities are very level. He has

equel jumping as he does strength. Same with speed. He is the

second character you unlock in the adventure, after yoshi.

 9. Luigi. Luigi has the a high speed, at 2/3. His strength is low,

at 1/3. But his jump, is the highest, at 3/3! Use him to reach high

places! Luigi is mainly for the agility.

 10. Wario. Wario is a sort of fat and chubby guy with a lot of

mucsle. Use him to break open the black brick cubes. He has

Strength 3/3, and both speed and jumping at 1/3. His strength

can come in handy sometimes- keep that in mind.

11. Every character has their strengths. Use some to get one

star, and others to get another. Remember that when your stuck

on a star!

 12. To continue on with the adventure, after you defeat bowser,

and go through the door, you must collect 30 stars to advance on.

When done you enter through the door, and see a portal directly

ahead. Enter through it. Now you must reach Bowser's sub, and

find the star atop it. When done, you will find a hole right in front

of the portal. Drop down it. And once again, you will fight Bowser.

Like before, you must grab on to his tail, spin him, and atempt to

land him on the mines lining the arena. He will give you the next

key apon defeat. With the key, you enter the locked door directly

adjacet to the entrance (up the stairs) You should see a spiral

stair case.

 13. Now, when you reach the top of the staircase, you will enter a

room filled with pictures. A majority of them are not able to enter,

2 are. There are other rooms off the main, and one is the hall of

mirrors. The secret with this room lies to your left. You will see a

blank wall, but in the mirror there is a snowy picture. Just jump

into the wall, and voila! The other cool thing, in the other room, is

the three shroom pictures. One is normal (not enterable) one

small, and one large. Enter the large, and your envirment will be

large compared to mario. Enter small, and you will be huge

compared to the envirment.

 14. When you collect 50 power stars, you can advance up further

into the tower, and through the next door.
